Hawaii fires: Historic Lahaina town destroyed by Maui wildfires

The county tweeted that multiple roads in Lahaina were closed with a warning: “Do NOT go to Lahaina town.”

The creator of this video posted this on social media. "Front Street business district near Dickenson St a few hours ago. My gallery is a few buildings further in. I don't know how my building is doing.

Another video. This was in late afternoon in full sun, but the smoke was thick blocked out the clear, blue sky.

Today was a devastating day in Lahaina. This is the main business district. A lot of homes nearby burned as well. Tomorrow, the sun will rise, and, through the smoke, we will all find our way. Please stay safe and help your neighbors."
