Karine Jean-Pierre blows up at reporters when questioned about Joe Biden

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has blown up at reporters after being grilled about President Joe Biden’s alleged involvement in his son Hunter's business dealings.

Earlier this week, House Speaker Mike Johnson announced the inquiry into the president's dealings with his son, Hunter, and business associates.

Jean-Pierre strongly denied such interactions and referred to the inquiry as “baseless" and “a political stunt”, declaring that the president had not lied about any meetings.

“The president is not lying about anything as it relates to what House Republicans are trying to do,”
she told a media conference on Thursday.

President Biden was questioned last week about the multiple encounters he had with family business associates, which he denied vehemently.

"I'm not going to comment. I did not, and it's just a bunch of lies," Biden responded.

"They're lies. I did not. They're lies."

Despite his denials, a former business associate of Hunter said that President Biden’s comments were, “complete malarkey".
