Rochester police have charged an 18-year-old in connection with the February shooting death of a 15-year-old city boy at a house on Alphonse Street.Brandon Williams, who was 17 at the time of the homicide, was charged with second-degree murder and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, all felonies, in connection with the Feb. 23 shooting death of Suade McKnight, said Capt. Frank Umbrino of the Rochester Police Department.Williams is accused of entering 391 Alphonse, a drug house, with several other people in what police say was an attempt to rob the location around 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 23, Umbrino said. Rochester police have charged an 18-year-old in connection with the February shooting death of a 15-year-old city boy at a house on Alphonse Street.

Brandon Williams, who was 17 at the time of the homicide, was charged with second-degree murder and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, all felonies, in connection with the Feb. 23 shooting death of Suade McKnight, said Capt. Frank Umbrino of the Rochester Police Department.

Williams was apprehended on Wednesday in Rochester and arraigned Thursday afternoon in Monroe County Court, where an indictment charging him with the three felonies was unsealed. He was remanded to the Monroe County Jail without bail and is scheduled to return to court on Sept. 13.

Police continue to investigate the homicide. Additional arrests are pending.
