A Government We Deserve?
May 5, 2023 5:04 pm ET Kudos to Joseph Epstein for the perfect description of these two unfit candidates who, sadly, will likely represent us in the next presidential election (“America Hits Bottom With Trump And Biden,” op-ed, May 24). I agree with all of Mr. Epstein’s commentary in this article, but not so much his quotation from Joseph de Maistre, that “every country gets the government it deserves.” America deserves a whole lot better.
