Biggest Gains in Employee Engagement in the Management Top 250

Inc. had the biggest increase by far in scores for employee engagement and development among the latest Management Top 250 companies, followed by Co. and Inc.
The Management Top 250 ranking, developed by the Drucker Institute, measures corporate effectiveness by examining performance in five categories: customer satisfaction, employee engagement and development, innovation, social responsibility and financial strength.
Dell’s score for employee engagement and development jumped 24.3 points, to 64.3. Commercial Metals’ score climbed 11.5 points to 60.3 and Vertex’s rose 10.1 points to 66.8. That Vertex score is the highest among the Management Top 250’s biggest gainers in the category.
Two of the biggest gainers in the employee category also were among the top gainers in social responsibility—Commercial Metals and Gilead Sciences Inc. Commercial Metals also was among the biggest gainers in customer satisfaction. Two other top gainers in the employee category— ConocoPhillips and Inc. —also were among the biggest gainers in financial strength. And Crown Castle was among the biggest gainers in innovation as well as employee engagement and development.
Crown Castle and Commercial Metals also were among the Management Top 250 companies with the biggest gains in overall score.
