The “La Vacanza” collection, inspired by Versace’s summer holiday spirit, is presented at the pop-up store opened in Beymen Mandarin Oriental Bodrum on July 18. The collection, which emerged from the collaboration of Dua Lipa and Donatella Versace, includes special selections ranging from the indispensable beach products of the season to elegant evening dresses and accessories. The collection, which was taken from the Versace archives between 1990-2000 and reinterpreted and inspired by the high luxury understanding of the period, meets Dua Lipa’s unique perspective and Versace’s fine craftsmanship. Buckled bralettes, dresses and men’s vests in the collection refer to the meticulous craftsmanship of the Versace 1992 Autumn-Winter Collection. On the other hand, knotted jerseys, inspired by the 1995 Spring-Summer Atelier Versace Collection, interpret body lines in new forms. The “nastro Gianni” band details on the chest of the dresses are inspired by the 2003 Spring-Summer Collection.

Metallic mesh designs are reminiscent of the ’90s supermodel era. In addition to these, butterfly and ladybug motifs, one of the archival patterns of the brand, used for the first time in the 1995 Spring-Summer Collection featuring Claudia Schiffer and Nadja Auermann are reinterpreted.
While Greca Goddess bags and accessories, among the codes of the fashion house, take their place in the collection with their new pastel colors, the classic Versace hobo bag draws attention with its new dimensions, new buckle, metallic leather and crystal details.
Medusa and Greca charms are stacked with references from the Versace supermodel style of the 1990s. On the other hand, heeled sandals and boots with band detail and butterfly decoration on the shoes; “nastro Gianni” stitched heels; Butterfly embroidered and metal toe cowboy boots stand out in the collection.
