Mauritius PM Jugnauth in Varanasi for kin's 'asthi visarjan'
After taking part in the G20 summit and meeting PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi, Mauritius PM Pravind Kumar Jugnauth reached Varanasi for the third time since 2019. He performed the ritual of "asthi visarjan" (immersion of ashes) of his father-in-law in the Ganga at Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi on Monday. Amid tight security arrangements, the Mauritius PM's family performed "shradh" and "asthi visarjan" under the supervision of priests.
