Newly appointed UP Congress committee president Ajay Rai said here on Friday that the party's former president Rahul Gandhi would contest the 2024 Lok Sabha election from Amethi.However, later talking to TOI, he clarified that what he meant was that people of Amethi wanted Rahul to contest from there.
