Rs 7 costs bus conductor his job; HC orders reinstatement
Slamming Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Villupuram division) for terminating the services of A Ayyanar, a bus conductor, for having 7 unaccounted cash in his bag and for not issuing a ticket to a passenger, the Madras high court has ordered his immediate reinstatement. He was dismissed from service eight years ago. The corporation said the extra cash was a "revenue loss".
