In “Sandbagging the Supreme Court” (Potomac Watch, Dec. 22), Kimberley Strassel criticizes special counsel Jack Smith and the Colorado Supreme Court. She concludes, “There’s a much easier way—for all involved—to settle the nation’s political disputes. It’s called an election. Let’s have one, and live with the results.”

Who could disagree with that? Donald Trump, that’s who. If he had simply accepted his loss, none of these cases would have been brought.
