Israel-Hamas war: Palestinians hit by sniper fire in northern Gaza on first day of truce

Trucks full of much-needed food, medicine and fuel have arrived in Gaza as a four-day truce with Israel came into effect.

However, the ceasefire has already been marred by violence, with shots fired at people in the north of the territory who had taken the opportunity to try and reach stranded family members.
