My Husband’s Relaxing Trip to Hawaii
May 5, 2023 5:13 pm ET I had to laugh out loud at “Carry On: Journey of a Thousand Miles Starts With Single Misstep” (Personal Journal, April 27). Three days before a trip to Paris, my husband casually mentioned he had a month before his passport expired. After many frantic calls looking for same-day appointments in any city in any state, we found a cancellation in Honolulu for the next day. My husband spent the next 24 hours flying to Hawaii for that appointment. And, yes, we were able to make our flight to Paris without another mishap. Cynthia Kokawa Lerner Los Angeles
