Oklahoma man sentenced in marijuana grow homicide case
An Ada man has been sentenced to more than 18 years in federal prison for a homicide on Chickasaw Nation land. On July 18, 2019, Jimmy Louis Northcutt broke into a commercial marijuana grow operation in Pontotoc County and shot to death Brian Doherty, 31.On April 7, 2022, Northcutt pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree murder in Indian Country.Last week in federal court, Chief Judge Ronald A.
