Police identify man who died in double shooting outside Hampton 7-Eleven

Police have identified the 27-year-old man killed in a shooting in the parking lot of a Hampton 7-Eleven Sunday morning.Officers found Jahleel Angus suffering from a gunshot wound at the convenience store in the 4900 block of West Mercury Boulevard after responding to a report of a shooting at 2:26 a.m. Angus died at the scene, police said.A second man who was taken to a hospital to be treated for life-threatening gunshot wounds prior to police arrival remains in the hospital and is in stable condition as of Monday morning, according to police.Investigators believe both men were part of a large crowd that had gathered in front of the 7-Eleven when a suspect approached and shot at them.
