SYDNEY—Seven West Media said James Warburton will step down as chief executive before the end of the 2024 fiscal year and be replaced by the Australian media conglomerate’s chief financial officer.

Seven West on Thursday said that Warburton had advised the company that he intended to quit as CEO and managing director. Jeff Howard, who has been CFO since January 2020, will transition into the roles by June 30, it said.
