Regarding “The Astrophysicist Who Has a Better Way to Board Airplanes” (Exchange, Nov. 4): The airlines took the wrong path a long time ago. Failing to solve the problem of bad baggage handling encouraged carry-ons to the point that we now have to pay to check a bag.
