Sean Rad, a co-founder of the dating app Tinder, is listing his Los Angeles home for $32 million.

Located in the Hollywood Hills, the modern, gated home is approximately 10,600 square feet with five bedrooms and an outdoor pool, according to listing agent Aaron Kirman of AKG | Christie’s International Real Estate.

Rad and his wife, designer Lizzie Grover Rad, purchased the property for $24 million in 2018, records show. They didn’t respond to requests for comment.

Originally built in the 1930s, the home was remodeled by a prior owner. The Rads worked with designer Jane Hallworth on another extensive renovation, including liberal use of marble: The primary bathroom has a bookmatched marble soaking tub, three marble doors and a steam shower with a marble chaise longue. The kitchen is marble with bronze accents. On the lower level of the home, there are illuminated shelves for alcohol that Kirman likened to a “modern speakeasy.” That level also has a wine room, a game room and a spa.

Kirman said the house also has two offices; Sean Rad’s office has wood walls, steel doors and a vintage Apple computer. “It feels like a ‘Mad Men’-moment meets 2023,” Kirman said.

Kirman said the Rads, who moved in about three years ago, are looking to sell because they like projects. “They’re ready to let this one go and move to the next,” he said.

Rad, 37, co-founded Tinder in 2012 as part of an incubator owned by the media conglomerate . Tinder is part of Match Group, which also owns Match, Hinge and OkCupid. Lizzie Grover Rad, an entrepreneur who had an interior design firm, founded an eponymous fashion line in 2022, according to her company’s website.

The L.A. luxury market has slowed, Kirman said. During the first quarter of the year, the number of sales dropped 32.8% year-over-year, according to data from real-estate appraisal firm Miller Samuel. “Inventory is at an all-time low and sellers are really holding tight right now,” said Kirman. But he said there is always a market for trophy properties.

Earlier this month, British rocker Rod Stewart listed his European-style compound in L.A. for $70 million. A roughly 35,000-square-foot estate in Bel-Air is on the market for $185 million
