You didn't get the memo? West Coasts are back in style. We got together with our awesome friends out of Pittsburgh, Coven Brewing, and took a simple approach to bring to you all Balance the Scale, a classic West Coast Double IPA. We hit this beer with a yeast strain that produces less esters than typically found in our IPA's, and nothing but C hops. Full of pine, resin, and citrus this beer has a welcoming firm bitterness that throws you back in time. A little retro, ah, perfecto. The perfect companion beer for getting together with a group of friends and reminiscing about the good old days, which we can't wait for you to do with this beer. Also, we look forward to getting together with our friends up at Coven and brewing up something special again.

What's the deal?

We got together with the fine humanoids from Nepenthe Brewing Co. for this one. Assembled from 2-row and Vienna and tuned for performance with wheat and rye. Hopped to the shoulder of Orion and back with hefty doses of Citra, Strata, Mosaic, & Sabro. Clear and balanced, with complex notes of honey, candied citrus rind, wild honeysuckle, tropical cocktails, and a clean, smooth finish that disguises its replicant-level strength.

Beer: Literally Figuratively — New England Style India Pale Ale — 6.8%

What's the deal?

This beer carries strong aromas of peach and overripe cantaloupe. The flavor is mixed fruit cup with a very light resinous pine that fades into a semi-dry finish.

Beer: Boltz Apple Danish — Fruited Sour — 7.5%

What's the deal?

Boltz is the easier drinking sidekick to our smoothie sour series, Electrofruit.

This version is a refreshingly tart ale base fermented with crisp apple puree, with aromas and flavors of apple strudel, crumble topping, and hints of caramel. This beer is lactose free.

What's the deal?

This super juicy and highly drinkable New England IPA was brewed in collaboration with Olde Mother Brewing and the families of local fallen firefighter, Battalion Chief Josh Laird and Lieutenant Stew Alcorn. All Sales from this beer will be donated directly to the three wonderful charities these families have chosen.

We brewed this one with Cryo Trial Blend-M, Citra and Mosaic lending itself to notes of Mango. A little bit sweet with a soft and creamy mouthfeel. Bright citrus, apricot, vanilla and mango notes throughout.
