How disappointing that West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin has decided not to run for another term in 2024 (“Why I Won’t Be Seeking Re-Election to the Senate,” op-ed, Nov. 10). He was able to work across the politically polarized aisle with Republican senators with a collegiality rarely seen today.
Mr. Manchin may be the last moderate Democrat in the Senate. He put his constituents, taxpayers and our nation above partisan politics and is a role model others should emulate.
