No cheetah death in Kuno due to radio collars: Project chief

Amid concerns over the deaths of cheetahs at Kuno National Park, the Head of Project Cheetah, SP Yadav, has stated that not a single cheetah died due to radio collars. He emphasized that monitoring wild animals is not possible without radio collars. Yadav also mentioned that nine cheetahs died in Kuno National Park since March, but none of them died due to hunting, poaching, or poisoning. He highlighted that the reintroduction of cheetahs in India has been successful, with cheetah cubs being born on Indian soil. The process of adapting to the climate is going as expected.
