One shot in gang-related shooting among 5 Victorville teens, authorities said

Three teenagers were arrested in connection to a gang-related shooting in Victorville.

On Tuesday, deputies responded to a shooting in front of M&D Mart and Gasoline in the 16500 block of Green Tree Boulevard in Victorville.

Witnesses told deputies that a group of teenage boys were arguing in front of the business when one of the boys opened gunfire. The others involved fled the scene before the deputies arrived, sheriff’s officials said.

During the investigation, deputies determined that the argument was gang-related and that two boys in the group had firearms and started shooting at each other, authorities said.

Sheriff’s officials said the group included two 16-year-olds, two 14-year-olds and one 15-year-old.

Deputies said they later found one of the teen suspects at a home suffering from a gunshot wound.

Two days later, deputies identified a suspect and executed a search warrant at his home. During the search, deputies recovered firearms, suspected drugs, and gang paraphernalia.

Deputies arrested both teenagers who shot at each other, including the one boy who was wounded, on suspicion of attempted murder. A third teen was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy, sheriff's officials said.

Sheriff's officials did not disclose the condition of the shot teenager.
