During a December 2019 episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan, Kelly Ripa disputed the idea that her and cohost Ryan Seacrest’s holiday getups were ugly. “If you’ve grown up in my house, we always had a holiday sweater,” she explained. “We used to call them holiday sweaters.
