When your editorial “Why Ken Paxton Was Acquitted” (Sept. 18) says, “The fix was in from the start,” you are almost right. You just have the wrong chamber. It is House Speaker Dade Phelan who predetermined the outcome of the impeachment, not the Senate, which acquitted Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
