Two Stories About the Court and the People

We are everyday American citizens who understand our freedoms are not free. We pray for your protection and we want you and your families to be safe to live and work without fear of reprisal. It is apparent from the interview with Justice Alito that some Americans on both sides have lost confidence in the institutions that make ours a government of laws, not men. On Jan. 6, 2021, a mob stormed the Capitol to prevent the Senate from performing its function, certifying the results of the Electoral College. On May 12, 2022, Justice Alito, who wrote the majority opinion in the case that overruled Roe v. Wade, was unable, because of safety concerns, to speak at George Mason University. Today, he must travel in a special vehicle with police protection, and an armed suspect has been charged with attempted assassination of Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Those who seek to obstruct government and intimidate officials abandon the rule of law and reduce America to the level of third-world countries that are ruled by violence and threat of violence.
